Aimie Wolohan

Company Director

 

I am the Service Director of Believe & Achieve Support Ltd.

I have humble roots in starting my profession in a children’s home setting, working my way into management and supported living schemes.

With all my passion and motivation I consider every young person is worth investing in. I would not be as successful as I am today without that vision in mind.

My experience has been backed by over 20 years of sound academic learning and acknowledging the importance of education, well-being and mentorship which in turn I want every young person to access and reach their full potential within a nurturing supportive environment from the staff team at Believe & Achieve Support Ltd. I would like every young person to learn and grow into adulthood.

As Company Director I can develop & steer the organisation and encompass my passion and commitment to young people knowing every life matters.

I also love the challenge of day-to-day management and the opportunities created to be unique & innovative in our ‘Believe and Achieve’ campaign, particularly the programme of sports, engagement with young people, in a positive structured manner setting boundaries and routines.

Paul Makin

Service Manager

 

I am Service Manager of Believe & Achieve Support Ltd. and pride myself on being involved in the day to day management of a vibrant, diverse and unique sense for young people.

I thrive on the ability to be creative and adapt to the needs of our young people in a culture that always learn, accept and work with a diverse workforce.

I have an open management style inviting my team to challenge the way in which we work and believe I can only do this with every staff member being part of the Believe & Achieve Support Ltd. Vision for Excellence.

I have over 10 years’ experience in field and operational youth works before being led into management where I can influence and develop the staff team help reach their ambitions and potential.

My unique skills lie in the ability to anticipate the needs of young people, work closely with the staff team as to how we can enhance the service and then lead by example. I am also aware of calculated risk taking and striving for independence.

I passionately believe the link between good mental and physical health is paramount to our young peoples wellbeing and push my own personal limits to demonstrate everyone can achieve more in life and to take every opportunity available whilst with us at Believe & Achieve Support Ltd.

All of our staff

 

We pride ourselves on all of our staff being qualified or working towards a minimum QCF Level 3 Children and Young People in Residential. All staff undertake Safeguarding / Exploitation training, Awareness of Mental Health training and Understanding Autism training…

 

All staff are fire Marshall, First Aid and MAPA trained

Management are IOSH trained – Institution of Occupational Safety and Health
