Earlier this month Santa arrived at Wood Street Mission.
We were once again proud to support Frank Shatliff of Prestwich Classic Commercial Road Run to collect donations of new gifts for 0-14 years olds for this years Christmas Appeal for Wood Street Mission. Various collection points around Prestwich and Whitefield were in place throughout November and December, with a final collection day with Santa and his helpers at Tesco Prestwich and Morrisons in Whitefield on the 9th December. People came from all over the area to donate gifts to ensure that many children Wood have a smile on their faces on Christmas Day and chocolate in their tummies. Santa left for Wood Street Mission in Manchester on his sleigh packed with over 2000 gifts and headed to the Mission in style.
